About IV Therapy

IV therapy is a clinically supervised health service in which a registered nurse administers a fluid infusion intravenously — directly into the bloodstream — under medical oversight. The process allows nutrients to be delivered more directly than oral supplementation, which must pass through the digestive system.

When administered by qualified practitioners under appropriate medical oversight, IV therapy is generally well tolerated. However, it is not suitable for everyone. A&A Vitality requires a clinical health consultation before every session to assess your individual suitability. If we determine IV therapy is not appropriate for you, we will not proceed.

Most clients find the experience comfortable and relaxing. A small catheter is placed into a vein — typically in your arm — which may cause brief, minor discomfort. Once the infusion is running you can relax, read, or rest while your nurse monitors you throughout.

Sessions typically take between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the formulation determined for you at consultation. Please allow additional time for setup and aftercare guidance.

Responses vary between individuals. Some clients report feeling well during or after their session. Others notice little difference immediately. We do not make specific claims about what you will or will not experience, as individual responses differ. Your nurse will discuss what to expect based on your specific formulation.

This list is not exhaustive — your treating nurse makes the final determination at consultation. See our Eligibility & Safety page for more detail.
